Mitochondrial DNA Testing
Mitochondrial activity screening with the aid of the same biopsy sample is used for effecting pre-implantation genetic screening (PGS). There is no need for the embryos to be exposed to any sort of interventions, apart from the ones already linked with routine chromosomal screening, which in turn is linked with genetic screening.
Mitochondrial activity screening offers the following possible advantages:
• escalated implantation and pregnancy rates after IVF/PGS procedures
• a decrease in the number of multiple gestations in case, one embryo is chosen for transfer
• improvement in regard to the information available at our disposal on embryo health, not to mention the added information concerning morphological observations and genetic screening.

One of the major reasons for the recurring pregnancy losses and IVF failures is a disorder occurring in the endometrium which mainly concerns abnormal gene expressions. Now using the procedure Endometrial Receptor Gene Assay (ERGA), it is possible to...

This is the prenatal genetic testing of foetal chromosomal aneuploidies from Mother’s Blood. We have the credit of being the first centre in the Indian subcontinent to develop in-house Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing (NIPT) which is 99.9% sensiti...
